lyrics
Have you ever bled rock 'n roll while the sharks circled 'round below?
Have you felt their teeth ink your skin, wondering why you decided to swim?
Seemed like a good deal at the time,
feet in the sand no clouds in sight.
Hands did the shaking, but eyes did lie.
Didn't know how high that tide would climb.
Now it's coming down to the end.
Take a breath for that final swim.
Have you ever signed your life away to give life to the music you make?
Seemed like a good deal at the time,
feet in the sand no clouds in sight.
Hands did the shaking, but eyes did lie.
Didn't know how high that tide would climb.
(whistle break)
Seemed like a good deal at the time,
feet in the sand no clouds in sight.
Hands did the shaking, but eyes did lie.
Didn't know how high that price would climb.
each song meshes together yet is different from the others as well. Bampa is my favorite because in an odd way reminds me of my home where I live. Listened last night to Ou Oui on repeat and woke up feeling spiritual, light and hopeful. Love all 3 and will def be playing it all year round, chores or not ;) Jeannie
